Sidemen is a rural valley in East Bali where rice terraces roll towards Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano. It feels like Ubud decades ago: quiet roads, farmers at work and songket weaving in the villages.
It is a lovely stop between Besakih, Tirta Gangga and the east coast, and a great place to slow down for a day or two.
